C. L. Brenton (similar but not directly related to a seal) is a novelist and writer based in Los Angeles. She will read and write pretty much anything, but is particularly interested in human struggles with death and desire in daily life. In between writing novels, she currently writes non stop for The American Genius, The Real Daily, and Girl Meets Strong. She also helps creative kids tell stories at 826 L.A. She lives in a tiny white cottage in West LA with her brand new husband and their three roommates, two cats who sit on everything C. L. writes, and a dog who squirrels away socks. Her micro fiction won A3 review's contest last year, and her story Weeds was published in their March 2016 writing maps issue. She is currently seeking representation for her first novel.
